In short

The extensions run inside your browser. They have no servers of their own, no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. They do not collect, sell or share personal data. PolyTools is an independent project with no affiliation to Polymarket.

What the extensions store on your device

Trade Cost keeps its settings in your browser's sync storage: language, whether the panel is shown or collapsed, and your benchmark return in % per year. Your browser may sync them between your own devices.
Journal keeps your language setting the same way. In local storage it also keeps the last 8 wallets you analyzed (address, profile name and time), which you can remove in the journal, and a cache of public market data (resolved outcomes and market categories) that saves repeat requests.

We never receive this data. It lives in your browser profile, and the Trade Cost settings also travel with your browser's sync. Removing the extension deletes it.

Which servers they contact

Only Polymarket's public services:

gamma-api.polymarket.com: market and event details, fee settings and categories (both extensions);
clob.polymarket.com and ws-subscriptions-clob.polymarket.com: the public order book of the market in the ticket (Trade Cost);
data-api.polymarket.com: public positions, activity and PnL history of the wallet or username you entered (Journal).

The extensions put only public identifiers into their requests: market and token IDs, and the wallet address or username you typed. The live order book connection of Trade Cost is opened from the polymarket.com page, so your browser sends it the same cookies it sends to Polymarket's own connection. The extensions send nothing to any other server.

What the extensions never do

Collect personal data or send data to a server of ours.
Include analytics, crash reporting, ads, cross-site tracking or third-party code.
Sell, rent or hand over data to anyone.
Ask for, store or use private keys, seed phrases or passwords.
Connect to your wallet, sign or send transactions, or place orders.

This website

polytools.vip has no accounts, and nothing you type on it is sent to us. It saves your language choice and your course progress in your browser's local storage. Its pages load the X conversion tracking script from static.ads-twitter.com, which measures visits that come from our ads on X. X handles that data under its own privacy policy. Links to Polymarket on this site are referral links.
